24 Hour Cancelation Policy

Please let us know early if you need to cancel or reschedule. Private lessons that are cancelled or rescheduled in less than 24 hours before the original appointment time will be charged the full amount.

Group Classes

We will ask that everyone rotate partners in group class. This facilitates the development of good partnering skills and helps everyone in class feel included. You will also learn faster when you have the opportunity to dance with more experienced students, and you can give back to the community by dancing with students who are newer than you.

Please arrive a few minutes early to avoid disrupting the flow of class. Give yourself enough time to sign in and change shoes. 

Shoes

Please help use take care of the floor by bringing a clean pair of shoes to change into. Dance shoes are not required, but we recommend shoes that are secured to the foot with non rubber soles. Leather soled dress shoes are a good option for men and ballet flats are a good option for ladies.

Health and Safety

• Please do not come to lessons or classes if you are sick. Private lessons can be rescheduled and group classes can be taken on a different week.
• In case of bad weather check the facebook page or calendar for cancellations. We will contact you directly if your private lesson needs to be rescheduled, and we will also do our best to directly contact regular group class attendees.
• While dancing you will be in close proximity to other people. Please shower, wear deodorant, wash your hands, and practice good oral hygiene.
• Please treat everyone with kindness and respect. Bullying and harassment will not be tolerated.

Video Policy

You will be given the opportunity to video what you learned at the end of group class or in your private lessons. These videos are for your personal use. Please don't share them online.

Refunds

Refunds are not available but unused lessons can be gifted to friends or family.

Events

Payment for events is due the day of the event. Checks can be made out to Compass Rose Ballroom LLC.
