Private Lessons
Private lessons are the best way to progress quickly in your dancing. You will have the full attention of your instructor and the ability to focus on your specific goals and learn at your own pace. You can use your private lessons to learn how to social dance, prepare for competitions, learn showdance or wedding routines, or just get some exercise and enjoy a break from regular life. Private lessons are for up to 2 people. Feel free to bring a partner or just bring yourself and dance with your instructor.
Group Classes
Group classes are a great way to meet new people, develop leading and following skills, and practice what you learn with lots of repetition. Refer to our calendar to see currently offered group classes or contact us to schedule a private class for you and your friends.
Beginners & Special Pricing
In these 30 minute beginner lessons you will learn a few of the easiest and most popular patterns to help you get started. You will be dancing with music in your very first lesson! We have special discounted rates for beginners and kids.
Competition & Performances
As a student at Compass Rose Ballroom, you have the opportunity to compete in Dancesport competitions and perform showdance routines. These events are a great way to set goals for your dancing, gain confidence, celebrate your progress, and immerse yourself in the vibrant dance community. You do not need to be a professional to compete or perform. There are categories for all age groups and levels of experience. Whether you are a beginner or an experienced dancer, we are committed to helping you reach your full potential while enjoying the exhilarating world of competitive ballroom dance.

45 minute lessons for up to 2 people.
1 Lesson - $90
5 Lesson Package - $425
10 Lesson Package - $800
Private Lessons - Beginner Students
30 minute lessons for up to 2 people. Both of these options are available only as a one time purchase to help you get started.
1 Beginner Lesson - $43
2 Beginner Lesson Package - $130
Private Lessons - Kids & Highschool though College Students
Kids Lesson - $50 (30 minute lesson for kids ages 5 to 12)
* Parent or guardian must be present for kids lessons.
Student Lesson - $75 (45 minute lesson for ages 13 through college students up to age 25)

Competitions/Showdance
The final price of a competition will vary depending on location/travel costs, number of entries, hair/makeup venders, etc. A total of around $2,000 is normal for regional events but costs rise quickly with more travel or entries. There are also fun local showdance events that are more accessible for smaller budgets. Let us know your goals and we will help you find the event that is right for you.
Entertainment for Events
Price can range anywhere from $100 to $700 depending on the location and needs of your event. Call or email for a quote.
