Elevating Your Dance Experience
Compass Rose Ballroom is dedicated to providing exceptional dance instruction that inspires, uplifts, and delights. Our commitment to excellence and passion for dance shine through in every class, lesson, and performance. We see the difference dance makes in our students lives and find it such a joy and a privilege to be a part of that journey.
We are dedicated to honesty, integrity, and excellence. We work to provide the best possible service by continuing to invest in teacher training and education. We care very much about treating both students and the professionals who work for us with fairness, honesty, and respect. Because of this we price our services in a way that is ethically sustainable and allows us to pay our instructors fairly, while still being as affordable as possible. We keep our pricing open and accessible so students can easily find the information they need to make the best decisions for themselves.
Online booking is available Monday through Wednesday for lessons and group classes in Fort Wayne, IN. Lessons in Lansing, MI are available Thursdays by appointment only. We look forward to dancing with you!
Meet Your Instructor
Karen Jacobs
Karen is a professional dancer and instructor with over ten years of teaching experience. She is professionally certified through AIDA and DVIDA and experienced in teaching a wide range of students with different goals and experience levels. Currently she competes in professional Smooth, and is a Professional Rising Star and Open finalist. When she's not dancing she enjoys exploring nature, reading, games, and spending time with her family and church community. She can't wait to help you learn and love to dance!
